These polaroids were taken when Tarkovsky moved to italy in preparation for his penultimate film Nostalgia. The images are melancholic in their beauty, with an aesthetic depth that pervaded his practice as a filmmaker. I just can't stay away

Things are happening. A groundbreaking realisation about the amount of talent and friendship in one place, at the BA Photography in Plymouth led us to think... lets do something with it? Say hello to We're All Friends Here - A photography collective led Dan, a nice guy who likes cattoos. Our first book is to be published in the next few weeks with a limited amount of copies at a double-rum-and-coke price. Its a small book/zine with photos by everyone, of everyone.

I cant be bothered to think about the week. Good things happened however. I finished uni and made a book, which looks bloody nice if i say so. Im going to start self-publishing a lot more often, so watch this space. I also have loads of spare prints that are darkroom 2nds, so i'm going to give them away (if you want one, ask and i will - this will make me feel successful.. especially if i sign it..) ha.

My Heroes Killed Cowboys put on a fun night and Filthy Dukes smashed everything. I smashed a bit too much rum and turned into someone i'm not familiar with. Apologies anyone affected

But the best thing was definitely seeing Harry again. OH. MY. GOD. Its amazing the 2nd time.

*The design in the publications is amazing. Why can't our newspapers look like the Daily Prophet? And the 'Mudbloods' poster is incredible. Cant find a photo though. Just think about the russian avant-garde. Hi Rodchenko, Lissitzky.

Five years on from it's close in 2005, Donatella has enlisted British designer Christopher Kane to assist her with the honour of resurrecting Versus; a diffusion line by the fashion house Versace. Some may say the iconic Versus ad, shot by Bruce Weber in 1989 is the feature of the collection, appearing on t-shirts and handbags for AW10. However for me, it's the pleated skirts teamed with graphic bodices which make the collection. Think girly glamour with a whiff of danger.

Instead of handwritten letters, photographers and artists from different cultures get involved in all sorts of collaborations via post. It's simple. Shoot a roll of film, post it to a stranger, they will shoot over it and the result is photographs marked by two people. I tried one this summer, shooting the roll twice myself. I would like to do it with someone else though.

It's my second-to-last day experiencing work. Today has been real good! I went to the professional retouchers in Covent Garden and the office was amazing! They had the nicest wallpaper which was white with drawn tall trees with little birds in... The macs there were incredible too! Soooo big and the work they were doing was insane.
